I am not a painter as a matter of fact I hate to paint but for financial reasons I do my own instead of paying to have it done. I have tried many brands of paint over the years from the very best to the very cheap and I think that the Kilz paints are some of the best I have ever used. They are sold exclusively at Walmart and are very reasonably priced. When we bought our house eight years ago I painted all the rooms with a high priced paint from a leading paint store and the only room I have repainted since is the bedroom with the Kilz paint I decided to try it and I found it so much easier to paint with and the coverage was great! It only took one coat , had great color and had virtually no odor at all . Anyone who is familiar with Kilz primer would be afraid that this too would have the same strong odor but trust me it does not. My grandson slept in the room the same night that I painted and said he did not notice any new paint smell.
