Kinder Grip Plastic Danger

From the many feeding-bottles that we received in the baby shower, they gave us the Playtex Kinder Grip bottle. Playtex Kinder Grip bottle is made of a resistant material. The nipple is made from silicon. It is very easy to clean and it is designed especially for the small hands of the baby. Its square shape does it easy to grip. Our baby got accustomed rapidly to the bottle in spite of having being nursed full time for six months and never have taken any bottle. The baby liked much.

But, we knew that the type of plastic it is made of and the delight now is broken. Playtex Kinder Grip bottle is made of plastic type 7 which contains the dangerous chemical bisphenol (BPA). When this type of plastic is exposed to high temperatures the chemical liberates and is a risk to the health of the children. Although we do not warm milk in the bottle we decided not to give it any more to our baby because, we sterilized it; we expose it to the heat. Playtex Kinder Grip can be better if is made of another type of plastic because really this bottle is practical but of dangerous material.
