King Of The Desert, Captive Bride By Chelsit on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

I purchased this book from harlequin a few days ago and within a few hours I had read the entire book. What can I say I am a sucker for a good love story whether it's a movie or a very good book.

This story is about a sheik who rescues a girl from a ghastly prison in a neighbouring country and has to end up marrying her for political reasons.

They started out as two strangers trying to do whatever it took to make sure that she did not get sent back to prison for something that she did not do and in the end they fall in love, even though every step of the way they were denying their feelings for each other because she did not believe a man as powerful and handsome as him could really fall in love with an ordinary girl as her, while he had never wanted to get married because he had always been a loner.

Jane Porter the author of King of the Desert, Captive Bride is an excelent writer she really brought about the essence of this couple and took you in this journey of self discovery with them all the way to falling in love.
