Kingdom Hearts By Yangmun Choi By Yangmun Choi on - Updated Sep 26, 2011

Square Enix and Disney Interactive teamed up to fabricate Kingdom Hearts. It is an epic tale consisting of both anime-style cartoon characters and Disney-style cartoon characters.

The entertainment value of Kingdom Hearts is a complete hit-or-miss. The gameplay is a very repetitive, button-mashing system; however, this is primarily to focus most of the attention to the plot. In all fairness, the plot is interesting, but it does not do the lack of tangible interactivity any justice. Most of the game you spend either mashing buttons or roaming around, looking for minute power ups and side-quest fillers.

The graphics are superb. Except for Mickey Mouse, the game does all the characters fair justice. The game features many cameos, from both the Disney world and the Square Enix world. The voiceovers are top notch as well.

Kingdom Hearts is a well-rounded game with an almost movie-like quality to it. But the gameplay is too simple for hardcore gamers. I suggest you try out this game at least once.
