Reviewing: Ridley Pearson Kingdom Keepers Iii Disney In Shadow
Purchased at: Booksamillion     Price: $17.99 USD

Kingdom Keepers III Disney In Shadow is the 3rd in a series by Ridley Pearson on the happenings within the Walt Disney World Resort Parks. He is also the author of the Peter and the Starcatcher series, which is around the life of Peter Pan.

This 3rd book comes in hardcover form with a slip cover. There are 545 pages and they are nicely bound like you'd find in books from long ago. The pages are thick and the edges have that uneven appearance, which definitely shows this book has some exciting content to read.

The five teenagers who were in the previous two books are back again in "Kingdom Keepers III Disney In Shadow" where they are turned into holograms within the Walt Disney World Resort Parks and now find themselves inside of Disney's Hollywood Studios and Epcot. Finn is the main teen character in this book too and along with his four teen friends, they try to fight against being trapped as holograms because of the evil villains taking over the computer system and Internet. As they follow the clues that they think lead them closer to solving this mystery they've been battling, once again they are fighting to save their lives. The Disney villains have now sent a huge snake (which resembles the one from The Jungle Book in my opinion) and Maleficent continues to send them on life threatening adventures through Epcot's Soarin' ride and Maelstrom, which is located in Epcot's Norway. Malestrom takes you on a boat ride through Norway's history but also interacts you with trolls and is quite thrilling - Here is a link to show you what Maelstrom is like.

I think this is the most exciting book in the series so far because it's longer and more like a novel and it causes you to become interacted with the adventure and then offers you to start your own Kingdom Keepers journey online.

This book has clues and charts inside. At the end of the book there is a page that sends readers to a website so you can continue the journey by getting your own key to the adventure - go to http://www.thekingdomkeepers.com/key/

I'd love to hear about your adventures! Have fun!!

Yes, this is the one hubby brought home and I did notice the uneven edges of the pages. Hope my nephews are enjoying reading it and then I'll have to ask to borrow all 3 so I can read them. You've done a great job on reviewing all of these!

I'm glad I stunbled upon your article, as I live in the UK and a big Disney world fan, I will try and order this book as this sort of thing interests me. On my last visit to Disney World, I purchased the book called "Realityland" which is all about the making of WDW including the first idea through to events that have recently happened at the parks, it's a real interesting read and I have now got the bug to find out more.
