I bought the Spyder TL-X with the intention of recreation paintballing, just for fun. No competion speed ball or anything like that. I bought it just to have fun and go paintballing once in a while. It suited my purposes well. The Spyder TL-X is a relatively simple machine, Semi-Auto, no batteries to charge for 3 shot burst or full auto options. Besides, who needs full auto when it isn't allowed at most paintball areas. Here's some features to start off with. These features include a 12" barrel, Light trigger pull, Anti- Double feed, Quick disconnect pin, Low pressure chamber, Velocity adjuster, New style Drop Forward, and the ability to run on either CO2 or compressed air. The quick disconnect feature is really convenient. It makes the gun easy to clean by letting the bolt slide out, and if you ever have a jam in the game, it can take less than 1 minute to clean the gun without the use of special tools. This gun is durable, due to it's simplicty, no fancy gadgets, just a reliable gun. I would highly recommend this to anyone wanting to get into paintballing. It is a great and long lasting investment.
