Kingston Data Traveler By Rae777 on - Updated Sep 18, 2011

The Kingston Data Traveler 1gb is a handy flash drive to have. Its small and you could wear it on a neck strap but mine did not come with one or it could go on a key chain I guess. I put mine on a string. This flash drive comes with one lid.

What is good about this flash drive is:

When it comes up it opens on my desk top allowing me to drag and drop files onto it easily.

Its has ridges on each side so its easy to hold onto when one is trying to put it in the USB port.

Files transfer onto it quickly.

It comes in brown , black, green or purple if you like colors. The color also distinguishes how much data this flash drive holds. The black one is 8 gb, purple is 4gb, green is 2 gb and brown is one gb.

The only thing bad about this one is that these days its just about as cheap in the long run to buy one of the bigger capacity flashdrives such as a 4 or 8 gb and keep all your information on one flashdrive. Fortunately Kingston sells all sizes and I like the DataTraveler as it has been reliable for me.

Update Posted on :

Note: the 7.99 price is for a 1 GB flash drive. Bigger capacity flash drives will be more expensive. :)

I have one of these (2G) and it is a nice small size. But I like how the ones that are more rectangular store better.

I have one,it is very small in size and of 8GB .It has a strap also to wear it around your neck.I prefer flash drives with huge/bigger space and small smallest size.

My hubby has the 2 gb version of this and really likes it. He keeps files etc... on it that he needs to work on both here and at work.

I got one of these for free from Buy.com and it is very handy to have around. It does not have a large capacity, but free if free!

8Gb is ALOT of room for $8.99. I'm buyiong one because I can safely keep all my work graphics on it, plus some of my really key articles, without worry.

The 7.99 was the price for a 1 gb flash drive. An 8gb will cost you quite a bit more.
