Kingston Pen Drive By a_m_i_t_t_a_l on - Updated Sep 18, 2011

I have a kingston USB 2.0 data traveller, bought about two months ago. Its has capacity of 1Gb. The data traveller drives are available in various sizes of 2Gb, 4Gb, 8Gb etc. It has been a great experience working with the kingston pen drive. The drive is nearly 2 inches in length and a half in width, which i feel is very convinient to carry and plugin. The drive works on both 2.0 and 1.0 hosts which makes it very easy for me to connect it to any PC of my friends. It has worked for me on various linux versions above 2.6.4 like ubuntu, kubuntu, edubuntu, red-hat fedora etc. The best part of the pen drive is that it gives a very good copying speed of about 18Mbps with normal windows copying program and approx 25Mbps with Burst copy(a copier) whereas other drives used to give me of about 14Mbps with windows copy.

Excellent information. We don't usually think about copying speed.
