I am always looking for safe, natural personal care products that have no environmental contaminants and no harmful chemicals. As a result, I decided to try Kiss My Face Olive Oil soap. I've used Kiss My Face products in the past and have been moderately pleased with the results.

The soap is an unpleasant shade of olive oil green, and it has an organic, unpleasant odor. This is to be expected, since it lacks perfumes and dyes, but it is a little off-putting.

Moreover, the soap does a poor job of producing any type of discernable lather. Although it cleanses adequately, the lack of suds leaves me feeling as if I haven't really gotten clean.

The soap also becomes mushy quite quickly in the shower. Before the bar is even half finished, it becomes soft and sticky. A slimy goo also forms on the bar after a few days in the shower. As a result, the bar doesn't last as long as conventional soaps.

Although I like that Kiss My Face Olive Oil soap contains no harsh chemicals, dyes, perfumes or additives, there are other natural soaps that I prefer. This one smells odd, gets gooey over time, and produces too little lather for my tastes.
