There are so many times when I'm cooking, that I have a need for kitchen scissors. These days, so many packages are difficult to open. I pull and tear, and try everything I can, but still I can't get the bag or container open. So I have decided that kitchen shears are a necessity.

I think it is so important to keep the kitchen scissors separate from other scissors, because they are used near (or often actually touch) food. Therefore, they should be kept clean and sanitized.

The shears have 8.5 inch blades, and are made of rust resistant stainless steel. The handles are plastic, and are comfortable and easy to hold.

The scissors are red and easy to spot in the utensil drawer without a lot of searching. These are nice scissors and could be used for other purposes as well, but they are sold in the kitchen utensil area of the store, and are perfect kitchen shears.
