Kitchenaid 4 Slice Toaster By ncmom on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

I purchased this toaster at Lowes this year during their great Kitchenaid sale. This toaster is regularly $100.00 but I got it at the sale price of $50.00. Although I feel that even $50.00 is a lot to spend on a simple little appliance like a toaster, it does have some features that I especially enjoy. Although it is a 4 slice toaster, it operates like two 2 slice toasters each side having seperate controls and doneness settings. Also each side has it's own individual crumb tray on the bottom for ease in cleaning. It is a beautiful shiny silver in color with black controls so it is very attractive. It has some special features like extra wide slots to accomodate thick breads, bagles, English muffins, etc. It also has a button which you push when toasting a bagle so that the sliced inside of the bagle gets toasted but the outside only gets warmed to keep from having a tough bagle. It also has a 'warm' button to push if you want to reheat your toast without further toasting it. I am very happy with my toaster and am really enjoying it's extra features.
