Kitchen Aid 56 Oz. Polycarbonate 5 Speed Blender By bamabride on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

I bought this blender for my brother this last Christmas. He had mentioned to me that he had a blender, but it leaked and he was so annoyed by trying to fix it with a new gasket that somehow did not solve the problem. He has had this blender since the 70s! It was a Hamilton Beach blender with that awful gold color popular in that era along with the avocado green.

He loves the design of this blender! Because the container is ONE molded piece with the blade inside, there is NO leaking or messing with rubber gaskets or taking it apart to clean. He loves to make smoothies and can blend and store any extra smoothie in the refrigerator.

It's Kitchen-Aid, so you know it's well made. The Kitchen Aid blender is FAST and POWERFUL. It has great styling and has a multitude of colors to fit every decor. I purchased the white and I think he was going to return it to Macys to see if they had cobalt blue to match his Kitchenaid mixer.

I really need a blender so this review is very helpful. You have just helped me decide what brand to buy. Thanks a bunch.
