KitchenAid Artisian Stand Mixer

I purchased this KitchenAid Stand Mixer from Lowes forsuch a low price while they were honoring a misprinted ad in the newspaper. I had always wanted a KitcheAid Stand Mixer as I heard they are top of the line and become family heirlooms being passed from Mother to daughter and last for many generations but the price was always more then I wanted to spend.

I purchased the KitchenAid Artisian 5qt Stand mixer in Stainless. Taking it out of the box when I got it home I was already impressed. It was beautifully made and quite heavy. I placed it on my counter top and decided to try it out by making bread dough. I followed all the instructions places the ingredients in the bowl put on the dough hook and let her go. I was amazed, the KitcheAid mixer did all the grunt work of mixing the dough and kneading it. These was always the thing that I hated about making homemade bread. The bread turned out great and I must use my stand mixer 2-3 times a week for everything from mashing potatoes to making homemade pizza crust.

The Artisian has a nice large 5qt stainless steel bowl and comes with beaters and a dough hook. Also included is a splatter guard and instruction book with receipes. I truly love this mixer and it's 1 year warranty is wonderful. If the mixer breaks down within the year KitchenAid will send a new one to your home and pay for the return of the broken one. I know I will have this mixer for many years and hope that I will be able to hand it down to another family member.
