KitchenAid KHB100OB Hand Blender

This KitchenAid immersion hand blender was given to me as a gift. I was new to immersion blenders, and I already had my regular Black & Decker one, to which I was quite used, so I was not sure what to expect and how I'd get along with this new item.

While this blender has not completely replaced my Black & Decker, I find myself using it more and more often. It is conveniently small and easier to clean, so when I need to make a couple of quick shakes or a glass of chocolate milk, I usually reach for this one. I don't need to use a blending bowl as it easily fits in most glasses. I like the fact that the blender is very powerful, strong enough to mix cookie dough, and yet quiet. It has 9 blending speeds - great for thicker consistency mixings where you need to start at a low speed and then gradually increase it. I also like the long cord - 5 feet, plenty of length to easily move it around.

The blender is available in 4 colors: white, red, black, and dark blue. It comes with a 3 cup blending glass & a sealing lid.
