Our family of six has had this toaster for four years now. I could not imagine our kitchen without this toaster. The large size allows for tosting four of any product you are able to. The two double slots on either side have frozen, warm, and bagel settings. It takes a little while in order to get used to the various settings. One you are familiar, the toaster works quickly and efficiently. The body is made of heavy plastidc and it is extra wide and not too wide. One can toast those four slices all at once when you have to make toast or bagels for six or more. The items rise slowly when they are done toasting and the crumbs are caught in the full width crumb tray on the bottom. We have toasted bagels, toast, strudels, croissants and even pretzels in our toaster. It works well and perform beautifully just like every other KitchenAid product! My entire family loves this toaster!
