K Mart Version Of Neutrogena Dont Bother!! By KLKwid on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

I had been getting Neurtogena Oil-Free Foaming Acne Wash for a few months now and it does a decent job, but it's very expensive-about $8.00 a bottle! Of course when you go to a store like KMart, they have their comparative product right next to the expensive name brand and USUALLY it's a pretty good copy. Not so in this case. Neutrogena has a great lather that you can feel working on your face. The Image Essentials version is more of a liquidy cream that doesn't really lather at all-you pretty much try to scrub it on your face, but it just feels like slimy cream on your cheeks. It really doesn't feel like it's doing any kind of cleaning whatsoever. You can smell the mediciney scent in this product, so I'm sure it has something that should be good for your skin in it-it claims to have salicylic acid-but it really doesn't do much good. About 3 days after I started using this product instead of the Neutrogena, I started breaking out again. My skin is very sensitive, so if something isn't going to work, I'll know about it right away!

Well, I know I shouldn't keep buying an $8.00 a pop facial cleanser, but I'll need to try something other than the generic version of what I was using. I guess I'll be getting back to you all with my next venture in facial cleansers in a couple weeks! Until then, don't buy this stuff!!
