K'nex value tub
By Mom2One onMy son received some K'nex as a birthday present a couple of years ago. He enjoyed his first set a lot that he ended up requesting more and more. We now have a bin full of K'nex.
K'nex are building toys that are in the shapes are sticks and connectors. Some sets have wheels so you can make cars and such.
The sticks come in different sizes.
What my son likes is the value tub so he can create his own masterpieces.
The only con I have found about K'nex is sometimes the pieces are hard to pull apart. My son will struggle with that sometimes and have to ask for help. There are times I even have to ask my husband because the pieces are stuck together.
The good thing about K'nex is the pieces are very durable. We haven't had a piece break on us yet.
I would say K'nex are more for the 7 and older crowd, even some 7 year olds might have trouble with them.
All in all I do think K'nex are a great building toy for kids and it gets them to use their imagination.

Hours of fun to stretch out a child's imagination!!
I like Knex a lot because there seem to be more creative things you can do with it than with some of the other kinds of sets.
Yeah, these are great. A good toy that keeps your guy's imagination humming after he's outgrown building blocks and the like!
I have a couple of nephews that might enjoy these. Will have to check to see if they have them as I haven't heard of these, but that doesn't mean they haven't!
I used to love K'nex as a kid. It just seemed to provide so many new possibilities that blocks couldn't accomplish
