I have three cats, and my oldest cat is very allergic to any type of insect bite so when he was bitten by a flea, it was a trip to the vet. Thank goodness, I have a vet who believes in natural remidies. He introducesd me to a product from Virbrac called Knockout. Actually, he sold it to me, but I am sure glad he did. It is the fastest acting flea killer I have ever used. And you can use it safely aroud pets and children, without having to worry about any poision. It kills adult fleas and ticks as well as the larve for 5 months. You still have to be cautious and read the warnings. It does kill fleas and tick and even natrual products can cause problems if not used properly. But I spray every 4 moths or so and it had not bothered my cats at all. Th vet charged $20, but my cats are worth it can it kills a lot of fleas for the money.
