Kodak Easy Share Series By Pinkmandy on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

The Kodak EasyShare series is very popular. I enjoy mine for the most part, but do have some issues I'd like to bring to light. First, this is my second EasyShare camera as I dropped my first one. This jammed the lens and it needed to be repaired. I took it back to Circuit City and the cost of repair was just shy of the price of a new camera. Naturally, I bought the new camera since I was told it would take 6 weeks or more to get my camera back.

My next complaint is the update agent on installed on my computer so that I can upload my pictures. It runs constantly. This slows down my other programs and it's irritating to have to go through the process of ended that task so I can get back to work using my computer.

Finally, it is very easy to upload the pictures. However, once uploaded if you want to post them on the internet it becomes a pain. All the pictures are saved with a Kodak icon so you have to literally open each picture to see what it is, there is no thumbnail. This is a pain when you are uploading pictures to a picture site (such as shutterfly or photobucket) because you have to sift through the pictures and save them elsewhere first, otherwise you have no idea what you're uploading. Huge pain.

The camera takes great pictures. It's easy to use if you are just printing right off the dock without editing or don't use your pictures on the internet. If you do more than that, though, this camera probably isn't for you.
