Kodak EasyShare Z1485 IS Digital Camera
By Karen on - Updated Sep 18, 2011I am a camera fanatic, I guess because my husband and I are both professional photographers.I recently purchased a few point and shoot cameras, to use separately from my professional camera. The Kodak EasyShare Z1485 IS is a dandy little camera.I have mine in blue (my favorite color) and this camera is very user-friendly and takes great shots.
This camera is 14 megapixels, has 5x zoom and takes photos in HD.The camera comes with a wrist strap, user guide with software, battery, USB cable, and plastic insert for use in Kodak docking systems (sold separately).
This camera takes great pictures, has fairly decent video capability, and is really easy to use.It has a self timer, program and manual modes, wide angle and telephoto buttons, and a built-in help system (this is a neat feature).
I do like my Kodak EasyShare camera and would recommend it to anyone looking for a user-friendly compact camera.
Update On Mar 02, 2010: I must say that of all of the small digital cameras I own (about four total), this is one of my favorites. The pictures always turn out sharp and clear, and it has never let me down.Definitely one of the nicest digital cameras I have worked with.
Update On Jul 13, 2010: I use this camera quite often to take random shots around the house.I really like it and do not regret my purchase. In fact, I like my Kodak so much that I just purchased another one from HSN that is coming with a Kodak printer.I can't wait to receive them and will be certain to do reviews on them.

Not bad, I got the Sony Cybershot with 4x zoom which also takes HD photos but has 1/2 the megapixels.. and it was like $100.. for just $30 more I could've gotten this and it sounds much better. But does it shoot video?
hmm. . . im considering whether to buy this or not
I recieved this wonderful camera for Mother's Day. I haven't used it a ton yet but I love it! Great review.
Kodak is not good in picture quality, you can choose CANON and Panasonic as Best Camera.
Daughter has the Kodak easyshare C813 and loves it..so easy to use, especially for a 13 yr old.
In terms of color quality, I've bought a number of kodak digital cameras, 2 nikons and canon. I've found that kodak quality is high but you need to check for best color quality by model. Generally, the kodaks are better than both the Nikons and Canons. I would recommed taking along your own laptop and digital momory reader to a store and try a few out side by side. You can even take a memory card back to a one hour photo and see image quality side by side for the models you want to compare. Overall, I've found that when they are good, the kodaks are the best. This one included.
nice camera. what kind of memory card it used?
this sounds like a great camera. I will definetly remeber this camera. I love taking pictures.
