Kodak Easy Share Z710 7.1 Mp Digital Camera By Rae777 on - Updated Oct 15, 2011
Kodak EasyShare Z710 7.1MP Digital Camera with 10x Optical Zoom –This is a good camera. I got it at Christmas as a gift. It is 7.1 megapixel. It has 10xOptical Zoom. It has many settings in which to take pictures such as settings for night, candlelight, sport, portrait etc. The screen on the back where you see the picture is 2 inches. You can get a memory card for it or it has a 32 mb internal memory. It is suppose to hold pictures in favorites without taking up any more memory on the memory card although I generally put them on my computer after I take them. It is powered by lithium battery which came included in the camera. The battery seems to be lasting although I have been using my other camera some too. The only thing I don't like is the fact it seems to hesitate when you take rapid succession pictures. This is a problem I have had with all digital cameras that I have owned.
Two years later I still have this camera. It works. Read all the instructions to get the best pictures.

Kodak digital cameras are very user friendly. I think most digital cameras have slow shutter speed. I'm sure in the next few years the manufacturers will find a way to correct this.
I have a Kodak Easy Share and love it. The delay thing tends to be there with any digital camera I've used. Do I move? Wait? Did it take the picture? It can be really frustrating at times. Thanks for sharing your experience with this model, mines an older Kodak but still takes great pictures. I would buy an Easy Share again and I really like the size of the screen on the back of yours! Great job :O)
I dont have this camera but I do have a Kodaxkeasy Share and love it too.
Just bought my mom a Koday easyshare and she loves it. Having a little problem with the battery not lasting very long, but it does take great pictures. Thanks for the info.
I hate the slow shutter speed on my digital camera! I wish the manufacturers would find a way to correct that problem. I am holding out on buying a new camera until they do. Hopefully my camera holds out!
This sounds like a good high quality MP camera. I like the 10x zoom.
This is a nice starter camera. I think you should be able to set the settings to take rapid pictures. I don't have this camera but I would suggest looking at the manual for help.
I am not familiar with the Kodak EasyShares (I have seen them but have never used) but it still sounds like this is a camera that is meeting your needs!
I have had the same problem as well. I just want a camera that takes the picture when I push the button but I guess that is too much to ask for. We are looking for a better camera but I have found that finding a good one isn't easy. Thanks for the information on this one.
I know what you mean about the hesitation. Sometimes when it is done hesitating, the moment for the picture is past :0( Cool that your camera has built in memory though. Thanks for the information!
