The Koka Booth Amphitheatre is located at Regency Park in Cary North Carolina. This amphitheatre is a small and intimate venue. There are several parking spaces that are located adjacent to the amphitheatre. Once you enter the front gate you walk on a cement path through the woods. While you are walking on the path you can look at the different trees and plants. You can either bring a blanket to sit on or a small lawn chair to sit in. You can also choose to sit at the tables and chairs located at the rear of the amphitheatre. There are also reserved seats that are located right in front of the stage. Even if you can't get a reserved seat you can still see the stage really well from the front of the lawn. There are a few food and beverage stands located throughout the amphitheatre. There are also a few restrooms located at different areas. The Koka Booth Amphitheatre hosts several events each year. There are concerts that are held there. There are also movie nights that are held several nights a month. The NC Symphony also play several events there. During the Christmas holiday season the amphitheatre transforms into a winter wonderland called Tinsel Town. There are holiday lights, holiday music, hot cocoa, holiday treats. There is also a ice skating rink that is set up inside the amphitheatre. I have only been to the Koka Booth Amphitheatre one time. When I went I saw a rock band. After the show alot of the neighbors complained about the loud noise coming from the amphitheatre. That was the last rock show that was held there. Most of the concerts that are played there now are soft rock and adult contemporary. This holiday season I am planning on taking my family to Tinsel Town for the first time.
