KONG Chew Toys For Dogs
By Jennifer Pritt onI have a cocker spaniel and he is extremely hyper. I've searched and searched.. and searched for a dog toy that would satisfy him long enough for me to clean house, water the plants, or even cook dinner. He would constantly bring me toys and want to play fetch or be jumping at my feet. I first bought the Puppy Kong, it's smaller and a blue/green color, when he was 4 months old. It worked perfectly for him and he never chewed up shoes, cords, or anything important. And it taught him healthy chewing habbits. I recently bought him a real Kong. It's larger and red, and he loves it! It keeps him occupied for hours and hours. He loves for me to put peanut butter inside of it, but you can also buy Kong stuffing which comes in a variety of flavors! It's so durable that you can't even see teeth marks in it and it's made so even the strongest dog can't chew it apart. You can stuff anything in it, like dog biscuits or actual dog food. And the dog just works and works on chewing it until they get some of the treat to come out. BEST chew toy ever for the price! And they can be found just about anywhere. Walmart, grocery stores, or pet stores. They usually run from 8 to 12 dollars. Such a blessing! I can water the garden without playing fetch the whole time now!

I have these too and they are great! My dog chewed up the Kong frisbee, but the other toys have lasted and they are great ways to occupy them and to satisfy their urges to chew on something other than furniture!
Our lab loved her kong! Putting Peanut Butter in it gave the whole family a few hours of entertainment - haha.
I love the Kongs!!!! They are great for keeping the dog entertained. I especially loved filling it with treats!
Every dog owner should have a kong! We fill ours with our dogs' regular food, then top it off with the Kong cheese whiz. We only give them their Kongs when we leave the house or need them to be totally occupied for awhile. And they are perfect for teething puppies!!
I know of a certain lab that needs one of these... AWAY TO THE PET STORE I GO!!!
my sister's weimers love them - and they are chew monsters!
I have seen these, but they look so big I've not been sure if the dog would like to try to get its mouth around the thing. Guess yours likes it, and a cocker is not that big.
Best idea ever, our dog loves it! It fulfills their natural instinct to hunt/work for their food. Great for terriers who tend to get bored.
