From what I was told by the shop owners, this is definatly the best outdoor cricket ball going around in the cricket world today. When hearing that the world class crickets play with the exact type of ball, I had to have it. The ball is suprisingly soft at first, but however this softness turns into hard compacted rubber after a while which really does hurt. So knowing that this ball would have to be replaced again after again will tend to get annoying and expensive, which is a big downside. The ball is also very beneficial for spin bowlers, due to the ball being made out in 4 pieces which creates the seam to bowl on which turns very very powerfully. The price is definatly worth it when you see the qualities that it offers, especially when you know your cricketing heroes are using the same variety of ball!
