Koss Stereo Headphones, No Deal By dade on - Updated Oct 15, 2011
It is not often a product I get from Radio Shack will totally let me down. This time, it was the Koss, Quiet Zone Noise Cancelling Stereophones.
I ordered these headphones on sales, now I know why. No sooner did I get them hooked up, that I noticed the sound quality was not there. Also, they did nothing to help reduce outside noise.
I felt like, I had been fooled. I kept plugging them into my system, hoping I was missing something fundamental. I finally took the headphones into the studio and hooked up to through my soundboard. Same thing. I felt betrayed.
I took these headphones to the nearest Radio Shack store. The salesman told me I must have gotten a lemon. I told him I didn't like lemons and I wanted a refund.
I got a full refund, but I truly had to push the issue. It took me about ten minutes for the salesperson to figure out, if he could give me a refund, or not.
I got my refund completed, then went to Best Buy to shop around for another set of headphones. In the end, I did not find what I wanted, so I bought a new DVD, went home and watched it. It was the best medicine for me.

Radio Shack is well known for trying not to give the customer a refund...pushing the issue was a nice way of saying...I'm not leaving until I get my money back !!!! Sorry it was a bad experience...what was the movie you bought?
