I am a person who likes his money, who feels like not wasting it on movies that may be a bit more expensive because of all the "extra bonus features." But when it comes to blu-ray - you really get what you pay for. When i was making the choice between buying the $18.99 DVD or the $29.99 Blu-ray, of Kung fu Panda, i had no choice but to spend the extra money and make the right choice. The quality is amazing, the picture is so vivid and clear, and the sound just jumps at you from different directions. It really is amazing. For those of you who have a blu-ray player, you know what i mean, and for Kung Fu Panda, it is no exception. In fact in my opinon blu-ray really works best with the Pixar/Disney films as well as the Lord of the Rings type films, you can see such a difference in picture and sound completely. Kung fu Panda is wonderful fun story about a panda who makes noodles but loves and wants to do kung fu, and goes onto to do things he only dreamed about. He is really fat, awkard and clumsy and with jack black voicing his character, this film will really make you laugh out loud, Children and adults alike. With tons of great extra features in HD, this is one blu-ray movie you won't want to pass up. Well worth the extra money.
