Purchased at: Amazon     Price: $28.00 USD

Cold therapy is used to reduce swelling and pain. I know this because I have very active kids and have learned it is great for all the sprains and pulled muscles they get over and over!. I rely on Kwik-Kold Instant Ice Packs. They don't need to berefrigerated and so they are great to keep in a first aid kit.

When needed, you just squeeze them and follow up with a quick shake. It gets cold really fast and stays that way for up to 30 minutes! They can be applied right onto the needed area or if they get too cold, you can lay them on a towel first.

The Kwik-Kold Instant Ice Packs are made for one time use. They can be found at most sporting stores, many department stores and online. They average around $1.00 each and are can be used on both kids and adults.

We always carried these in our first-aid packs when I was doing my athletic training stuff. They are a wonderful thing to have handy everywhere you go.

We use these in practice and during our flag Football games. We play to make State, which games are then held in Tacoma. Last year, we never got close, but I got to know these pretty well. Getting old for the game. Muscle rub afterwards too.

These are great for all kinds of mobile locations- camping, sports, keep in the car. The very best thing for those kinds of injuries in fast application of cold, so this product is ideal!

I've never heard of these and would just be awesome to keep with you for those untimely boo-boos when you're out at the park or camping and just don't have access to a regular ice pack.

Great idea. I'll have to add a few of these to my kit that I keep in the van :0)

I had never heard of these. I think they are a must-have both for kids, and for hikers/campers. Ice packs take up way too much room in my freezer! Great info, thank you!
