Kymco 200cc People S By Faeryfae on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

I have owned three other scooters before this one, but my Kymco 200cc People S is the best by far! It handles just as easily as a 50cc scooter, but with its 200cc engine can reach speeds of up to 65mph, depending on the weight of the rider, making it perfect for in town or highway trips. The compartment under the seat is roomy enough to fit a helmet, goggles and a poncho or scooter cover. Additional storage space can be found in the small "glove compartment", where I keep the vehical registration, and hard top cases are sold separately for even more storage.

After riding it for a month, I realized I had put over 400 miles on it, and put less than $40 worth of Premium in the tank. I've now owned my Kymco for four months and ride it every day, and have had no problems with it. Simple maintenance of my scooter includes riding it every day, covering it from the rain, and charging the battery once or twice a month with a battery tender. The cover, tender, goggles and helmet only cost another $100 all together. If you are looking for a scooter I highly recommend it!

I love it!! It is so cute, I remember my Moped, I had a blast on that when I was younger.

Wow, $40 for 400 miles?! That is absolutely amazing. I would be nervous though going 65 on the highway in a scooter, do you do that often? I like all the little compartments too. And blue is my favorite color, I love it! :o)

Good to know that this is an excellent choice. I didn't recognize the brand name -- are they new?

Cute bike there for ladies. But the name does seem unfamiliar to me. Thanks for sharing that bike with us.

With gas prices doing what they're doing, this sounds so tempting! I wonder if I could keep it at daycare and ride it to work after I drop off the kids! LOL.

Cute styling and great gas mileage - I wish I did not have to travel the interstate to get to work. This scooter would be a great thing to have. And with gas prices the way they are today, the cost could easily be made up in gas savings.

I am really ignorant when it comes to any type of two wheels. Is this scooter automatic or a manual?
