I purchased the Kyocera K10 Royale cell phone through the Virgin Mobile website because I was desperate for a cell phone and the price was right, $9.99 with free shipping and $10 worth of airtime. However, upon receipt I realized I had gotten what I paid for. Ugly. The only other word to describe the phone besides ugly would be bulky - it is large and somewhat awkwardly shaped. While the service and reception were of decent quality, the battery life stunk. It could go maybe 2 days before the battery died which made it a very inconvenient phone. I did like that the screen had background options and some color - it wasn't just black and white. However, what it all came down to was that I just didn't like the looks of it. I felt as if I were holding one of the old giant cellular phone of the early 1990s, it just didn't make me feel good to use it. Needless to say, it has been replaced.
