La Bella Lots of Curls Extra Hold Styling Gel is formulated for curly hair, natural or permed. I have used it on my permed hair, with very satisfying results. The gel is to be applied to towel-dried hair; after that you scrunch the hair with your fingers and either let it air dry or style it the way you normally do (I usually air dry). The curls become more pronounced and defined, and they stay in place very well, without frizzing or flying away.
The gel is alcohol free and safe to use on color-treated hair. It leaves no sticky or stiff feel; the hair looks and feels very natural, as if there is no gel applied at all. I need to mention though that have read, with much surprise, some other reviews of this product that called it "heavy"; I guess that depends on your hair type. Mine is very fine, and La Bella Lots Of Curls worked very well on it.

Where did you try this? I'm looking to buy a good gel for curly hair that doesn't leave it sticky or crunchy.
I think if you have very baby fine hair this gel is perfect. But for some reason on thicker coarser hair it ends up being a sticky mess.
wow sounds like good gel. i'm always look for ones that are alcohol free.
