Labtec Desk Mic 524 Cheap And Clear By Miko on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

Desk mics are convenient for a myriad of purposes. Recording memos, talking on skype or even letting your fellow gamers know where you are. The Labtec Desk Mic 524 comes in a no-frills package, getting you audibly connected to your computer with minimal fuss.

The grey plastic mic looks unassuming at first, but it won't clash with anything on your desk. It connects with the pink mic port, instead of the USB, so it carries a normal analog signal. This means no drivers are required to install and it is truly plug and play. The plastic material is relatively light, and could be easily broken if enough pressure was applied, however, for the price you pay, replacing it shouldn't be a problem. It can be mounted with the included sticky pads to a flat surface, if a permanent solution is required.

Overall, for those looking for a mic to get the job done and with a decent sound (read: not professional audio equipment), this Labtec mic is for you.

Basic function is so often all that is needed. Thanks!
