Labuan Marine Musuem By Chris Kong on - Updated Sep 18, 2011
The Labuan Marine Museum is a part of Labuan International Water Sports Complex, an internationally-recognized recreation and water sports center. The marine museum features marine life around the waters of Labuan.
It is easily accessible from the Labuan town. THe building is very futuristic in design and sea shelled shaped. The musuem has many galleries and also a discovery room. This musuem is very educational because it has many informative materials , for example models of dolphins, posters and charts of marine life - as well as various live sharks in touch-pools, and protected species of fish, sea coral, snails, molluscs, reptiles, sea plants. There are also artifacts of shipwrecks on display.
The best thing is it is FREE..no entrance fee is charged for admiring all those marine lifes and cameras are allowed too.
