Lady Speed Stick Fruity Melon By Lorianna on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

I have not had much luck with the Lady Speed Stick line of deodorants. When I had first heard about them years ago, advertized as dry long-lasting women's deodorants, I thought it was something great and immediately bought one. However, I did not like it: it would leave waxy residue on my underarms that would later on be transfered to clothes. With T-shrts, it wasn't a big deal, but I did not want to ruin any of my good blouses. Then I saw this Fruity Melon variety of Lady Speed Stick, said to have a "no white residue formula." I thought this improved formula might be a winner, so I tried it. I must say I enjoyed the scent: gentle, mildly sweet smell of ripe melon. The anti-perspirant protection worked well, too. But the waxy residue was still there, unfortunately. So I am back to roll-on deodorants.

Well, I think I would like the scent. But I'm with you on the rest of it.
