Lakeview Terrace

I rented this movie from a local movie rental place and was not sure what to expect. The movie was good.Samuel L Jackson showed yet again his talent as a very gifted actor in his role. In the beginning of the movie a new couple moves into there first home which happens to be beside a cop named Abel(Jackson). The new couple are an interracial one and this seems to be a real problem for Abel. He has two children who late one night watch the couple make out in their pool next door and this sends Abel into a very odd rage. He pretty much lets the couple know of his disapproval of their relationship and begins starting conflicts with both of them. The turn of events in the end of the movie is not very suprising and the movie would have been just as good without the countless racial references. I also read that Lakeview Terrace was the name of the area that Rodney King was beaten by police in. I was suprised to read that this movie was also produced by Will Smith. The story was good but as I said before the racial references could have been avoided.
