Laminated Hardwood Flooring

Beside we got sick of paying through the nose for a steam cleaning machine on rental and they dont work that great anyways. So this is why we decided to go to hardwood flooring. We decided to go with the Truclick Ultra 8mm Fast Wide Boards. We were also adviced to place underlay down before clicking the hardwood flooring down. We did this and absolutely hated it because it felt like we were walking on water. So we removed it and just laid the flooring down. I must also tell you that the clickable flooring wasn't so clickable. But once we got our own knack to it. We ended up with awesome looking flooring. We have been very pleased with our purchase for a number of reasons. Easy cleaning, nice looking flooring and most of all the non scratching surface. We have had mini doll strollers to toddler ride on toys scooting through here and we have even moved heavy furniture around on these floors and no scratches to prove it. That me friends is true great flooring if looking to purchase laminated flooring. These are the ones I highly recommend.
Sounds like headaches getting the floors laid but sounds like they end up being wotth it. Will keep these floors in mind.
Non scratching floors! Awesome! I would love to replace the yucky old laminate flooring in our home. This would be so cool to connect each room with this flooring. I think that alot of people have problems installing them until they get the hang of it. I wonder why you had such a weird experience with the underlay? It isn't supposed to feel like that. Glad that it all worked out in the end and that you have enjoyed your new flooring :)
i never knew there were other kinds of wooden floors. This is new to me lol it sounds really nice though I'd probably couldn't tell the difference.

We have wood laminate floors also and we have been really happy with them.
I'm impressed you put this down yourself! And I know just what you mean by steam cleaning the carpet! My husband just had to have the new house with off white carpet...not a good idea with a six year old and puppy:0) I finally bought a steam cleaner to fix my problem.
We also have this in our kitchen & am so glad we invested in them since they are non scratching!! Enjoy!!

We have installed a lot of laminate flooring from our kitchen when it first came out about 10 years ago, until just recently through our whole house except for 2 bedrooms and in our daughters house. It isn't that hard to install if you have done a few other home improvement jobs. Just cutting around cabinets in the kitchen might be a little more difficult for some.
