This is going to be one of my funniest reviews ever posted. I have to begin with our first vacation to Florida many years ago when our kids were much younger. While at Disney World, my husband was in awe of the pink flamingoes as neither he or I had ever seen one in real life. I don't know why he was so excited over these birds but he was just like a kid in a candy store. He could not get enough of flamingo merchandise after that introduction to them.

Last year for his birthday, I gave him four sets of flamingo lights. He was extremely surprised and immediately went outside and draped all four sets on the inside of our newly purchased gazebo. That night when it became dark, he had to go outside and turn the lights on. I have to admit that they did look beautiful. I know there are those of you out there who think they would be pretty tacky but who cares, he was in love. I also surprised him with four stick in the ground flamingoes to mark each one of our children. They looked really cute especially as their wings flapped when the wind blew.

The light sets have eight flamingos on each of them and they have to be plugged in. My husband used a long heavy duty extension cord of his to run out to the gazebo. You can use them inside or outdoors and they stood up really well to the heat. We decided to take them down in late fall so they would not freeze outdoors. These lights have provided lots of joy for my husband and everyone who sees them and gets a real hoot out of them.

I highly recommend these lights to anyone who wants to add a liitle fun in their lives. They are available in other shapes and animals. The price was also right as I wanted to have enough for my husband to do something with. I knew he would want to place them somewhere that they could be seen by all therefore he would need more than one set. Check out your Target store this spring for some fun light sets.
