Lane Double Reclining Sofa
By uaezarb onWe bought this Lane Double Reclining sofa and within less than 6 months we had problems with the springs.The springs are attached on both ends with looped heavy duty wire (see picture), but the way it is made, the springs can easily be dislodged.We were given a refund on the cost of the sofa, but it took 4 months to get the problem resolved.We bought this through Directbuy, so I am not sure if the long wait on a refund was the fault of Lane or Directbuy. This sofa was not heavily used, so this problem should never have occurred, especially in such a short time of owning it.The fabric also did not wear well.It doesn't have any holes or worn spots, but it doesn't look like a newer piece of furniture either. This was also a double reclining sofa, and we were not happy with the reclining mechanism either.It is very hard to push the footrest back in place.I would not recommend Lane furniture!

Wow! This is very good to know! We had a problem with furniture in the past and it is no fun! After finding the right piece for your home it really stinks that it did not only not work out but that you had such a hard time with it! Thank you for sharing!
I guess this problem can happen with any furniture but wow, you'd think it would last longer than you experienced. DirectBuy here requires you to purchase sight unseen, one of the main reasons we didn't go for the membership - likely if you had to go through DB for the refund the delay was at their end. I'll steer clear of Lane thanks for the info
