Lansinoh By donnabc on - Updated Oct 15, 2011
All you breatfeeding mom's out there are probably thinking I put this in the wrong category, right? Wrong. Being frugal, I tend to keep all medical stuff until it is out dated. So, years after I finished breastfeeding, I still had a tube of this wonderful stuff laying around.
Now, for those of you who have NOT breast fed, Lansinoh is a Lanolin product marketed for dry, cracked nipples....and it works great if I do say so myself :0) But, that is not what I use it for now.
When my son was a toddler, I developed a terrible head cold (or sinus infection) and my nose was all red, chapped, and cracked from blowing it so much (this is before I discovered Puffs Plus). It hurt! I was trying to think of something to use on it before I went to bed that night so I would not look like Rudolph at work the next day. And the light bulb went off in my head...Lansinoh! If it could heal my nipples, why not my nose?
I rummaged through my drawers until I found the old, half used tube and applied it to my poor nose. The next morning, it was much, much better. Since then I have used it many times for my nose and also chapped lips...it works better than anything else.
So, give this a try for ALL your chapped skin needs! And one tube will last you years.
