Laser Hair Removal
By kateri27 onI got Laser Hair Removal from Medical Care Center in Cleveland Ohio back in 2001. I really hated the underarm hair I had and just had to get it removed! I also opted to get laser hair removal on my bikini line.
Well it hurt like a dickens!I mean serious pain.i had the procedure done three times, and the underarm results were decent, the bikini line not as good.I was supposed to go back for a fourth treatment, but I am such a wimp that I just couldn't go back.
In defense of the procedure I did have it done seven years ago, and hopefully it is a much more comfortable experience now.I did like the fact that the stuble on my underarm was less noticiable.I am still shaving every day, butit is nice to wear a sleeveless shirt without keeping my arms down because the stuble was so dark.
As for the bikini line, well I was still shaving from day one, and seven years later you would have no idea I even had anything done.it's back to waxing for me my friends!

You are so not a wimp -- you went back for three treatments! That's some serious courage on your part. Anything that is more painful than waxing has got to be really awful!
I think I will stay away from this (V-oted)
Thanks for the warning; I was considering it for my upper lip but I wondered about the pain
Ouch... this sounds awful, and lousy results. A loser all the way around. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for being honest about the pain factor. I usually shave and that does not bother me too much, but facial hair removal I might do - except for the pain involved.
I heard about the pain factor. Thats a shame it didn't work very well, after all that! I had always thought this was something I'd do if I had extra cash but now I wonder. Hopefully it has come along in the past 7 years.
Ouch, I had no idea it hurt that badly! What's the cost for each session?
I had the exact same experience! I hear that they have treatments now that are not supposed to be painful, but I'll never attempt it again. I nearly came off the table each time. I quit after 2 treatments, I just couldn't handle the pain and I have a high tolerance! I'm sorry that you went through it and it didn't work! I would definitely try and get a refund.
I've always wondered about the ouch factor of getting this done. I don't know that I'd be interested - especially since you didn't get the expected results for all that pain.
That's unfortunate that it didn't work permanently after all that!
