Lash Blast Mascara

I recently purchased Cover Girls new Lash Blast mascara because I had a job interview & I needed a quick beauty fix.I had heard about the mascara on an episode of America's Next Top Model but didn't have any plans to buy it.When I saw it in the store though, I decided to give it a shot.There were 4 shades available and they had it in waterproof which I like.It said that it was volumizing and smudge & smear proof.Also, it said it was hypoallergic & suitable for wearing with contacts which is important for me since I wear them.

First thing I noticed was that the case and the handle for the mascara was really big & thick which made it hard to control as well as I'd like.Also, the mascara did smudge more than I would have liked and I kept getting small flakes/clumps in my contacts which didn't feel so great.

All in all, it works okay, but not really any better than other cheaper mascara's.
