Laura Secord French and Chocolate Mmmmmints

My husband and I received a box of Laura Secord French and Frosted Mints for Christmas.We've had other mints before, but Laura Secord is one brand that we don't endulge ourselves with, due to the (supposed) cost.These mints were divine.The chocolate was smooth and creamy, melting in my mouth like ice cream on a summer's day.The mint flavour was just right.I knew that I was tasting mint without being overwhelmed by the flavour sensation.Eyes closed, I enjoyed every morsel of the first couple before I shared the rest with the family.Naturally, I had to test both the plain and the frosted mints to see if there was a difference in flavour, smoothness, minty flavour and just plain enjoyment.Nope.They are the same wonderful concoction of mint-just right to settle a tummy after a meal.As to the cost?Just yesterday, I was in our local grocery store and saw that the original price of a box was $9.99 for 12 plaind, 12 frosted + 1 mini "Laura" chocolate.Today they are on special for 50% off.I just may have to raid thepiggy bank so that I can replensish the stock!Plain, minty and simple.These chocolates are mmmmmarvelous!
