I love the author Laurie Notaro and her first book, The Idiot Girl's Action Aventure Club is my favorite of all! Perfectly written humorous accounts of Ms Notaro's everyday life had me laughing so hard I almost shot soda out my nose! I found out I too was an idiot girl and would be proud to join the club. Laurie Notaro takes everyday occurances, especially those that often cause the everyday modern woman stress and puts a humorous spin on it. I think it would be hard to find another author who could make me laugh as hard when describing how she accidently pulled a tampon out of her purse to write a check at the grocery store! Or better yet, does deep knee bends to give her pants a little stretch so they fit better! If you are looking for a read that you don;t want to put down, will make you laugh out loud, and yearn for more books from the same author, the Idiot Girl's Action Adventure Club by Laurie Notaro is it!
