This is a solid mower that quickly converts from bagging, mulching, and side discharge. Starting the mower has never been a problem usually in first two - three pulls. One feature that is unique to this mower is the release lever that quickly folds the handle into several storage positions (i.e. vertical or flat). When the handle is in the vertical position the bag handle easily hooks onto the bar for compact storage. The self propelled feature is amazing - completely responds to the user. The one thing I wish the mower was better at is mowing close to my fence.
The lawn-boy website has some great videos demonstrating the several of the unique features including the quick-stow lever. - Oh by the way, this spring it started on one pull after I added some fresh gas.
