Le Bistro Self Waterer for Dogs

All of my pets seem to enjoy drinking from the Le Bistro self waterer. I have a dog and a couple of outside cats that use this product. It has a 5 gallon jug that you fill up and then turn the jug upside down so the water fills up the drinking dish and keeps it full until the jug is empty. I have found that my pets enjoy drinking out of this, but I have also found that they will only drink out of it for the first 2 or 3 days after I fill it. I believe that is because the water is no longer cold and can become stale. Nothing replaces fresh water I guess. Another drawback is that it is somewhat difficult to clean. It does come completely apart, but it is a hassel, nonetheless. I would have to say that this product is great if you are going away for a couple of days and want to leave water for your pet. This will work great for that purpose, but for everyday use, I think a regular dish, filled with fresh, cold water will make your pet happier than this self waterer.
