Leap Frog Fridge Phonic Magnetic Set
By Tina Lehman onThe Leap Frog Fridge Phonic Magnetic set is a great thing to have in the kitchen.I bought it to keep my daughter occupied when I was cooking dinner, and it worked.
This set consists of a magnetic letter reader that sticks onto the fridge.26 magnetic letters come with the set, and fit into the letter reader. When your child fits the letter into the reader and presses on the letter, a song begins that says the name of the letter as well as what sound it makes. There is also a button that you can push to listen to the alphabet song. There are two volume settings, which is nice.
The magnetic letters are large and easy for little hands to handle. They are different colors (the vowels are red), so this set can also help children learn their colors.
For little children, the letters are sometimes difficult to fit into the letter reader. They have to go in upright, which is easy for an older child to do that knows what letters look like. But determining which way is up is a little difficult for a 22 month old.

This sounds like fun! I always need to buy gifts for a ton of nieces and nephews and cousins. I will look for this product in the stores to purchase for gifts! Thank you for sharing!
We have the farm animal one and the alphabet one. My son loves it. It really keeps him busy.
I have heard great things about Leap Frog, wish they had been around when my kids were growing up.
We have this set as well, it's great although loud - we put some clear tape over the speaker and that helps a bit.
We have this too! Works for a little bit for me when cooking. Great way to learn letter sounds.
I've been wanting to get this for my little one. I think I'll wait until she's a bit older since you say it's a bit hard for the young ones.
I'd love to get a set of these for my son!
Ahh.. The good ol' days with Leapfrog. I love their items. Thanks for the read!
