This is a great handheld toy for the preschool and up age group. My daughter loves to play this game system especially in the car when we are going on long trips. The great thing about it is you can buy games that are very educational and others that are more for entertainment...although all of the games seem to have some sort of learning aspect to them. It is also great because they make different games for different age groups...so this is a toy that will grow with my daughter...my 8 year old daughter also enjoys playing some of the games. The only downside to the system is that it can eat batteries pretty quickly. I have heard that the charger takes care of that problem and I will probably invest in one as soon as possible.
