By a-w-omyn onMy eldest daughter has an undiagnosed problem with processing language.We think she has dyslexia, actually.So, teaching her the alphabet, and phonics, has been an issue for quite some time.
This DVD has been wonderful!It has helped her so much.She now knows all the letters of the alphabet, all the phonetical sounds they make, and she's started sounding out words.I can't even describe how happy this makes me.
The video is only about 30 minutes in length, but it presents letters and phonics in a fun, engaging way.My children love to watch it, for the entertainment value alone.I love the fact that they are doing so well with their letters and phonics, since I tried this one out.
If you're looking for a way to teach your children letters or phonics, I can't recommend this video enough!
