Leap Frog Math Circus By bubbacat on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

Leap Frog Math Circus is another video in the Leap Frog series. Children are to learn beginning math with some addition and subtraction, very little. Children ages 3-6. 30 minute video. While the video was playing, my son started playing with his toys and the girls decided to go outside with daddy. I was left sitting through this video alone. I told my husband he was lucky he went outside. It was boring. Tad, Lilly and Leap arrive at the Math Factory and put springs on their shoes. I didn't really understand the reasoning for this. There is a number machine and numbers that speak and have names. The numbers come out of the machine and need to learn to add and subtract. The Quidgits aid in learning-they are squares. There are tunes and singing.Next thing you know, everybody is at the circus. The Quidgits fly through the air on a trapeze showing how to add then subtract. At the end, they teach counting by tens up to 100. I don't care for the circus so I did not enjoy the video. This is a 2004 video. It seems much older. Not a favorite.
