Boring, boring, boring. Even to a toddler. I thought this toy would be a cute, exciting way for my little one to learn letter sounds and the alphabet. I'm a huge LeapFrog fan, so I did not hesitate to spend my money on their product. With four learning modes, including colors and songs, I thought my kid would get a kick out of it. Turns out, it is a very cute decoration in my childs room. That would be okay, if she needed any more cute decorations. She does not. I do not think a kid needs to be 12 months old to play with this toy, but I am not sure anyone of any age would want to. There is only so much fun to be had by repeatedly pushing on 26 feet in four different colors. And there are so many more fun toys to pull around on a string for $15. It tips over easily, too. And the music is irritating. It is clever, however, that the little guy giggles ifyou try to get it to say naughty words on the letter sounds mode. I just think there are many more interesting things that help you to learn the alphabet.
