Leapfrog Leapster L Max Toy By Aristomommy on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

Leapfrog's Leapster L-max is an educational toy for children ages 3 and up. The L-Max version plugs into the television or it can be used on its own. The toy comes with 3 games, or additional games can be purchased priced $19.99 and up. The Leapster L-max has an approxiamately 4 inch screen and an attached stylus for touch screen features. Some of the easier games such as drawing and stamping can be completed by a 3-year-old. Other games requiring math or alphabet knowledge are more appropriate for older children.

As a parent I like the educational value of this toy, while children enjoy seeing their favorite cartoon characters come to life. The game itself is easy to use, the graphics are clear and the technology is ver well made. On the down side, additional games can be expensive. This educational toy keeps my 3.5 year old son entertained on long car rides, at the grocery store or at home.
